Parish Picnic 2022
After a stormy night, the weather had a rather miraculous mood swing at 7 a.m. Rainwater drained from booth roofs. Mass was celebrated. Schoolkids paraded. Live music entertained. Kids rode rides, lost their lunch (and cotton candy and sno-cones and pretzels ...) and went back for more. Ring-a-Bottle cleared its inventory. Ted Drewes sold out. Chicken Dinners sold out. Chuck Wagon sold out. States Game did 20 nationwide tours. Beer and margaritas flowed plentifully. Alumni reunited. Luck was chucked. And the energy was electric.
It was a most wonderful day.
