St. Vincent DePaul Society
Description: The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a group of men and women of the parish who volunteer their time to respond to the various needs of people who live in our neighborhood; these necessities include items such as food, utilities, and other basic necessities.

Purpose: Our parish St. Vincent de Paul group works in conjunction with the St. Vincent de Paul Society of greater St. Louis which has four additional ministries: job placement services, Criminal Justice Ministry (which provides visitation to inmates and assists families of inmates and victims of crime), The Thrift Store (which provides low cost furniture, clothing and other household items for the poor), and general assistance and referrals to those in need.

Who are we? In addition to assisting those in need with utility payments etc., we also help to staff, fund and supply the ecumenical St. Trinity/St. Stephen/CCBF Food Pantry at 517 Koeln Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63116. The pantry is open 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday and has been serving over 800 people per month. Volunteers and food items are always welcome.

Events/Meetings: Meetings are held the First Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the St. Stephen Protomartyr parish rectory basement.

How to join: Contact Jim Prag (President, (314) 481-9015) or to volunteer at the Pantry call Wence Kveton at 351-6979

Dues? A willingness to help our neighbors in need.

How to donate: Food and cash donations can always be made at either the parish church or the chapel. Each month that has a 5th Sunday has been designated as "Food Pantry Sunday." Boxes are available for food donations and all loose monies go to our causes.
