Prayer and Reflection

Description:		A variety of opportunities are provided for parishioners to gather for prayer and reflection.

Events/Meetings:		The annual Christmas Novena, an adaptation of Evening Prayer, is held December 17-23. The Church remains open on Wednesdays from 8:30 AM until 8:00 PM for personal prayer and adoration. On the first Saturday of each month from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM, there is a Holy Hour and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. There are opportunities to reflect on the Stations of the Cross during the season of Lent on Friday afternoons and evenings. Some men of the parish make a retreat at the Jesuit White House Retreat center in South County in spring. The Sodality of Our Lady has an afternoon of reflection on the second Sunday of Lent. In October, there is a 3-day mini-retreat during the day for any of our parishioners who are able to attend. The focus group for the mini-retreat has been our Seniors.
