Food Pantry - Running Low
During the month of June the food pantry served approximately 805 people from 353 households in the Holly Hills and Carondelet neighborhoods. At the present time our supply of canned goods of all kinds are running desperately low. We do not want to have to cut the food pantry services but we need your help to continue serving those in need. Canned goods of all types are needed: canned fruits, canned vegetables, canned chili, stew and meats, canned spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce. You name it we need it. Thank you for your continued support of the food pantry.

School Shower August 3rd
The 2nd Annual School Shower will be held on the August 3rd Donut Sunday. This is an opportunity for people to see the school, meet our principal, Meghan Bohac, and help the school supply budget. Everyone is invited to the shower, especially non-school family parishioners. The school's giving tree will be in the back of church after all masses the last two weekends in July, but it is never too early to shop! The tree will list specific requests from the faculty, but the school can always use copy paper (white and colored), envelopes, postage stamps, gift cards to Borders*, Office Max*, Office Depot*, Bradburn Teachers' Store, Post-It Notes, poster board and anything else you can think of. So watch the bulletin for more details.

(*Borders, Office Depot and Office Max gift cards are available through the ACE program--you will be helping the school when you buy the card and when you give the card.)

When: July 26, 2008 at 5:00 PM Celebratory Mass followed by a great party in the hall.
Where: St. Stephen Protomartyr Church and Hall
