Lenten Fish Fries
Fish Fry dinners are available for dine in and carryout beginning Ash Wednesday and every Friday throughout the Lenten season, with the exception of Good Friday.

The fish fries serve as a fund raiser for St. Stephen Protomartyr Catholic School operating expenses.

Fish fry volunteers consists of school children, parishioners, and anyone willing to participate. Volunteers are much appreciated and needed. Please contact anyone on the Fish Fry Committee noted below.

Opportunities for Spiritual Growth

Becoming People of Faith

         Take home resources: Lenten Calendars, Rice Bowls & Little Black Books are available at doors of church.

         Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesday:  The church is open until 7:30 pm on Wednesdays.

         Sunday, February 21   5:00 pm       A Meal and A Message – Becoming Women of Faith” The ladies of the parish should plan on bringing a side dish or a dessert and come together for a light dinner followed by a talk by Sr. Pat Quinn.  Drinks and sandwiches will be provided.

         Saturday, February 27   4:00 pm     Archbishop Carlson will be here to celebrate mass with the parish and provide some food for thought in his homily.

         Tuesday, March 9   7:00 pm            “Becoming Men of Faith”  The men of the parish should plan on gathering before the usual Men’s Club meeting to hear the reflections of our seminarian, Kregg Hochhalter, on this topic. 

         Sunday, March 14   3:00 pm           “Woman, Behold Your Son”   The SSP choirs will present a Lenten concert at the Motherhouse of the St. Joseph Sisters of Carondolet.  The concert highlights Mary, as the mother of Jesus, reflecting back on the life of her Son.

Opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation

Saturday Mornings:  9:30 to 10:00 am, except Mar. 28 & Apr. 4

Penance Services with the Students: Thursday, March. 4 beginning at 9:15 am

Saturday, March 27:  There will be several priests available to celebrate the Sacrament from 12:00 – 3:00 pmat the parish church.  There will be quiet music during this time.
